Big Thursday

OK so today we had about 200 kids turn up to our Big Thursday hioliday event, an idea dreamed up by a crazy American called David Jull. It was awesome, a few different churches bought along thier kids and had a mad time.
Kids Under Construction did thier cool puppet thing, we had huge speakers, songs, dramas, quizes, it was massive. Mike Wilson MC'd the event, and got some leaders (yes I was one of them) looking really silly unable to rip a phone book in half.

Today we got an ides of whats possible. After our prayer time there was a real sense that God had His hand on it all, especially as we came together from different churches. That's the same reason I recon that God has blessed the Glow in The Dark Party so much. He so loves the unity thing!
I really do believe working side by side like this will see us so much more effective in seeing the good nes spread around the kids in Dunedin.
I can't wait to do it again sometime.
