Red Moon Rising...

I finally finished it! It took me ages to get through the last few chapters 'cause I was thinking too much. By the way it's a book by Pete Greig, about the spread of 24/7 prayer.
Here's some thoughts...


• This movement wasn't anything that someone sat down and planned. It was compltly by accident... rather God sat down and planned it. All it took was someone to hear the voice of God and obey. HE carefully orchestrated the rest!

• I'm a bit of a stratagiser. I like maps, plans, timelines, all the rest. If all goes to plan I will rule the world by 2020. But it hit me when I was reading the book that trusting God to give you each step is way better, and way more exciting too. So now I'm back to scratch again. The best place to be!

• God is doing the same thing all over the world. He's speaking to His kids all over about what He want's to do on earth. So 5 years ago when God was stirring and teaching me about prayer, he was getting me along with a whole lot of other believers in position ready for what He want's His army to do.

• Prayer+Wittness... it's not just about a balance of both. It's about the marrige of both. One can't function to its potential with out the other. And one naturally leads to the other. After spending an hour in a prayer room at the Salvation Army a few weeks ago I felt a way heavier burden for my non Christian work mates then I have in a while. That has to lead to sharing Jesus with them. I'm so not good at that, but it's time to stop making excuses and just flippen do it...

• Nameless faces... this has come up a lot over the past few years. My friend Zelle will tell you all about it. She just lights up every time it is mentioned. How about it. An army of people, young and old, who don't care what people think, I mean really don't care, who just simply do what God tells them to do. Is that really so hard? Well yes, the desire for recocnition keeps popping up. Grrrrr. But lets keep working on that one. There will always be people that are seen more then others, I think it's the way God wired us to work, but He knows our hearts. He sees when we truly love and fear Him. Thats what makes us great!

Well thats all we time for today kiddies, I gotta sort out my office, it's a bit if a shambles.
