Chats about church and stuff

Yesterday I worked at Azucena. Had a great catch up with my bro Matt and a couple of other guys. They were talking about worship styles & the emergent church. Matt has been doing some reading up on this recently. Very interesting stuff. Is it me or is every one around me frustrated with the way we run church? Some of the people I’ve that have known in the past to be anti conventional church chose to be uninvolved. I guess a lot of them had been hurt. But this is different. These are people with a genuine love for the church, most of them serving in the church, that know that there must be more to it then this.

Aside from all that deep stuff, my ability to froth milk is improving. I’ve managed to achieve that creamy middle layer successfully. It’s all about the swirl. And apparently grinding the coffee and leaving it in the machine while you do the milk does actually burn the coffee a little, giving it that bitter taste and that dark ring around the outside of the milk.

Then last night Tish cooked us dinner. Mmmm. Chocolate pudding. Apparently she never cooks at her flat so we’re really lucky!
