Kids Rock

Kids Rock totally went off!

Last Saturday we had about 80? kids turn up for the prayer and worship event to the century... well at least the first one like it that I've ever seen.

It kicked off with the KWD team doing a dance (at 2 hours notice), we had worship, prayer stations, prizes, a ministry time, and it rocked. The kids were totally into it, I've never seen kids so into something where it's not all about them, but all about God.

It was such a joy to work with different kids leaders from around town, some from quite different church backfrounds, a weath of different ages and experiences that have such passion and energy for the same things. Thats what LINK is all about!

There was a lot of power in bringing the kids together. One of my kids came along and found that another kid from his soccer team was there. It's a great chance for the kids to identify other kids at school who are Christians. It makes a lot of difference in their confidence as a Christian at school when they know others around them believe in the same stuff.

Can't wait to do it again!
