Vitality
Wow, the one week I'm away and I get 6 comments! Some very interesting thoughts.
Vitality is the Apostolic Movements national youth conference. I went to it in Hamilton following the National Leadership conference. Both were really good.
At Vitality, the main speaker Russel Evans, decided that 'Apos sounds too soft, so aparently we're now the 'Stolics'. (Please note: the word is not "Stoics". We're not unemotional and appearing detached).
I enjoyed hearing some of our local talent preach. Matt Someone from Hamilton's East Side Apo'stolic' was great. So was Jorden from Equippers in Auckland. What a funny name for a town. 'Auckland'. The land of Aucks. Anyway, they were both good communicators, used scripture heaps (and properly), which I like, and had a realness about them.
Yep. Vitality was good. If not great. No wait, it was excellent. I enjoyed every minuite.
And the trip back down was just as fun. I caught up with my besty Kate in Wellington, the ton of Wellings. Good talks. And she cut my hair. It's becoming a Wellington trad. Nice do by the way, although I did hack a bit more off my fringe all by myself a few days later.
