I like boxes.

If I was me, I would put myself in a box and label it wrong.
I like boxes. I like being right. But when I put right into a box, it somehow becomes wrong.

Since my ideas are changing, my attitudes are being challenged, I have realised that all this time I was mistaken when I thought “if one is right, then the other wrong”.

A lack of wisdom. That’s my problem. If I can’t understand why something is good, I put it in the bad box. If I can’t understand how something can be right, I put it in the fear box. And then I run away.

Think about apples. Mmmm. Apples. I like apples. So I put them in the good box.
But what if the apple I see in front of me has a huge bruise. Yuck I hate bruises. Bad box.
Or perhaps there is another way. Instead of chucking the whole apple, I cut out the bad bit, and eat the rest.

If I was me I would put myself in a box and label it wrong. But since I belong to Christ, I’m supposed to put my self on the altar. Not in a box.
