I like people like me...

I was up in Christchurch for the weekend with Tish and Liz to catch up with Christine cos she’s heading to Aussie real soon. Good times. Bought a new hoodie so more like extra good times.

Anyways we trotted along to St Christopher’s in the morning. It's always nice going back to an Anglican Church from time to time. The dude that was preaching made a real good point about people that fall away. We shouldn't judge and ignore them, which makes it almost impossible for them to come back to the family. Rather we should express grief, like the way a family would grieve over the death of a child.

At night of course we went to City New Life. The highlight of that for me was… no surprise here… meeting up with some of the kid’s leader. We went out for hot chocolates at the Honey Pot Café. I love these guys; they have such an amazing sense of community in their team, and something I definitely want to focus on here. Actually I learnt a lot from hanging out with them. I just love being around other kids leaders who are really into it, not just going through the motions but totally walking it with Jesus.
